Privacy Policy
MissionLine OS™ website, operated by Fortis Calcs LLC Effective date: October 27, 2026 Last updated: October 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Fortis Calcs LLC ("Fortis Calcs," "we," "us," or "our") collects through the MissionLine OS website at missionlineos.com (the "Site"). It also explains how we use and share that information, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy covers the Site, including the beta waitlist form, the design-partner application form, and the emails we send about them. The MissionLine OS application will have its own privacy notice, which you will see when you create an app account.
1. Summary
- We collect only what you type into our forms, plus basic technical data needed to keep the Site secure.
- We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies, and Vercel says the data it records is not tied to any individual or IP address (see Section 2.6).
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording, or any other analytics tool. We will update this policy before adding any (see Section 4).
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We send marketing email only if you tick the optional box asking for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing support@missionlineos.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Waitlist form
- Your name, work email address, company, and role.
- Whether you agreed to our Terms of Use and acknowledged this Privacy Policy, which version you saw, and when.
- Whether you ticked the optional box to receive product updates and articles, which wording you saw, and when.
- When you confirmed your email address.
2.2 Design-partner application form
- The waitlist information above.
- Your answers to the application questions, such as the types and sizes of projects you work on, the tools you use today, and what you hope to get from the program.
- Whether you agreed to the Beta Program Terms, which version you saw, and when.
Please do not include client-confidential project information, drawings, or security-sensitive details about any facility in a form.
2.3 Technical information sent with a form
- Form context. The Site page where you submitted the form, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you there (for example, a "utm_source" tag on a link we shared). This tells us which of our posts and links are useful.
- Hashed IP address. We store a one-way hashed version of the IP address that submitted the form. We use it to prevent spam and abuse and as part of our record of your consent. We do not store your IP address in readable form with your form submission.
- Bot check. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is submitting them. Turnstile loads from Cloudflare and processes technical signals from your browser and device, such as IP address and browser characteristics. Cloudflare processes this information under its own privacy terms.
2.4 Emails you send us
If you email us, we keep your message, your email address, and our reply.
2.5 Server logs
Our hosting and network providers automatically log technical information when you visit any page, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
2.6 Website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider Vercel, to understand in aggregate how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, and which links bring them here. According to Vercel's documentation:
- No cookies. It does not use cookies. Instead, Vercel creates a hash from the incoming request to tell visitors apart. That hash is valid for one day and then resets, so visitors can't be followed from one day to the next or from one website to another.
- What is recorded with each page view: the time, the page address (with query parameters filtered), the referring page, general location (country, region, and city), device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet), operating system and version, browser and version, and the analytics script version.
- Not tied to you. Vercel says these records are anonymous and are not tied to or associated with any individual or IP address. They are used for aggregated statistics only and cannot be used to reconstruct your browsing across other websites.
- Bots. Automated traffic is filtered out based on the browser's user-agent.
How we set it up:
- We send only page views. We do not send your name, email address, or other form information to analytics, and we remove confirmation and download links and other private web addresses from page views before they are sent.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Site does not send analytics for your visit.
How it relates to server logs. Analytics data is collected separately from the server logs described in Section 2.5. Server logs record IP addresses for security and reliability. Analytics records only the aggregated, anonymous data described above, and we use it only to understand Site usage.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- add you to the waitlist, review your design-partner application, and contact you about early access and the program;
- confirm your email address;
- send product updates and articles, only if you opted in;
- respond to your messages;
- prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and keep the Site secure;
- understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, and which pages and links lead people to the Site and to our forms;
- keep records of your agreements and your email choices;
- comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect our rights.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors). We rely on your consent for marketing email (which you can withdraw at any time), on steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement (waitlist and design-partner applications), on our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and understanding in aggregate how the Site is used through cookieless analytics), and on legal obligations.
4. Cookies, analytics, and tracking
- Analytics. The only analytics tool on the Site is Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies (see Section 2.6).
- No advertising or cross-site tracking. The Site does not use advertising or social-media pixels, session recording, or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies of its own for analytics or advertising.
- Security technologies. Our security providers, including Cloudflare, may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to detect bots and protect the Site. These are not used for advertising or analytics.
- Your choices. You can use your browser's Global Privacy Control setting (see Section 2.6) or a content blocker to stop analytics from being sent.
- Before anything changes. Before we add any other analytics tool, advertising or social-media pixel, session recording, or any cookie that is not strictly necessary, or before we change how we use Vercel Web Analytics, we will update this Privacy Policy. Where the law requires it, we will also show a notice or ask for your consent before the change takes effect.
5. Email
- Confirmation email. After you submit a form, we send one email asking you to confirm your address. If you don't confirm within 30 days, we delete the submission.
- Waitlist and program emails. If you joined the waitlist or applied to the design-partner program, we email you about your place on the waitlist, your invitation to early access, or your application. These messages include a way to stop receiving them.
- Marketing emails. We send product updates and articles only if you ticked the optional box. That box is never pre-ticked, and you don't need to tick it to join the waitlist or apply.
- CAN-SPAM. Every marketing email identifies Fortis Calcs LLC as the sender, includes our postal address, and includes a working unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly and always within 10 business days. Unsubscribing does not cost anything and requires only your email address.
- After you unsubscribe. We keep your email address on a suppression list so we don't email you again by mistake.
6. Service providers we use
We share information with these providers only as needed to run the Site. They process it on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.
| Provider | What it does for us | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel, Inc. | Hosting the Site | IP address and request logs |
| Vercel, Inc. | Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregated website analytics) | Page address, referrer, general location, device type, operating system, and browser, recorded anonymously as described in Section 2.6 |
| Supabase, Inc. | Database that stores form submissions | Form information, consent records, hashed IP address, form context |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | DNS, network security, and the Turnstile bot check | Browser and device signals, IP address |
| Resend | Sending confirmation, waitlist, program, and opted-in marketing emails | Email address, name, and email content |
We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with law, a subpoena, or a court order; (b) to protect the rights, safety, or property of us, our users, or others; or (c) to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. How long we keep information
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Unconfirmed form submissions | Deleted 30 days after submission if you don't confirm your email |
| Waitlist and design-partner information | Until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first. If you become an app user or design partner, the app's privacy notice and any written agreement then apply. |
| Consent records (what you agreed to, which version, when) | While we hold your information, and for up to 3 years after you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, so we can show what was agreed |
| Suppression list (email address only) | As long as needed to make sure we don't email you after you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information |
| Emails you send us | 2 years after the conversation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner |
| Server and security logs | Generally up to 30 days, depending on the provider |
| Website analytics | The daily visitor hash resets after one day. Aggregated, anonymous statistics are kept for the reporting period of our Vercel plan, and Vercel may keep them longer under its own terms. |
8. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you marketing email (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email).
How to ask. Email support@missionlineos.com from the email address you used on our form, with your request in the subject line (for example, "Delete my information"). We may ask you to confirm that you control that address. We will respond within 45 days, or within one month if you are in the EEA or UK. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may ask for proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Deletion. When we delete your information, we remove it from our database and email provider. We keep only your email address on our suppression list, a record that the request was made and handled, and anything the law requires us to keep.
Colorado residents. If the Colorado Privacy Act applies to us, you have the rights to access, correct, delete, and receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal within 45 days. If you disagree with the result, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
California residents. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you have the rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information (as the law defines those terms), and we do not use sensitive personal information. The categories we collect are identifiers (name, email address, hashed IP address), professional information (company, role, and application answers), and internet activity (form context, server logs, and aggregated website analytics). Sources, purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, and 6.
EEA and UK residents. In addition to the rights above, you may object to or restrict processing based on our legitimate interests, withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing), and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Fortis Calcs LLC is the controller of the information described in this policy.
9. Visitors outside the United States
Fortis Calcs LLC is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. Our service providers store and process information primarily in the United States and may also process it in other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, server-side checks on form submissions, and providers with recognized security programs. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Children
The Site is for working professionals aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@missionlineos.com and we will delete it.
12. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, as described in our Terms of Use, except where the privacy laws of the place you live give you rights that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If we make a material change to how we use information we have already collected, we will notify people on our email lists before the change takes effect.
